Q. Who will be my insurance company if I bring my business to First Community?

A. First Community Insurance is an independent agency which means that we represent several carriers including Safeco, Progressive, Travelers, Nationwide, Foremost, United Heritage, ASI, and more. This allows us to find the best rate and fit for our clients.

Q.What type of policies are offered?

A. Policies offered include: auto, home owners, renters, dwelling fire, RV, travel trailer, motorcycle, boat, ATV, umbrella, earthquake, & flood.

Q. What should I do if I need to file a claim?

A. The insurance companies that First Community Insurance represents handle all claims directly. Claims department contact information is located on insurance ID cards, declaration pages, or our web site homepage.

Q. Do I need to be a member of a Credit Union to purchase insurance at First Community Insurance?

A. No, Credit Union Membership is not required. Anyone can purchase insurance.

Q. Do I need to provide information to get a quote?

A. Yes. The "Declaration Pages" from your current insurance policies contain much of the information we will need. You can fax or email or visit First Community Insurance to provide that information.

Q. What are my payment options if I purchase my insurance through First Community?

A. Payments will be made directly to carriers. Electronic funds transfer and credit/debit cards are preferred. Payment options vary between carriers.

Q. Is credit a factor in the insurance quoting process?

A. Most companies use information from credit reports as a factor in their quotes. Information contained on your credit report is used in conjunction with other factors that determine your premium. Checking your credit for an insurance quote should not impact your credit score.
